Aimee joined MSU Technologies in August 2018, to negotiate material transfer agreements (MTA), confidential disclosure agreements (CDA), and data use agreements (DUA) for the university. As an MTA/CDA coordinator, she assists numerous faculty members with protecting their intellectual property and transferring data and materials to/from other institutions to conduct research.
Before MSU Technologies, Aimee spent four years in MSU’s Office of Sponsored Programs where she negotiated federal, state, and non-profit funding awards. She also spent time in Washington, D.C. gaining experience at the National Science Foundation, the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, and the Environmental Protection Agency.
Aimee received two Bachelor degrees here at MSU from Lyman Briggs and James Madison, then earned a Master’s at Georgetown University. She is currently finishing a part-time J.D. program at the MSU College of Law, with a focus on intellectual property.
